Your hire caravan comes equipped with everything you need. However depending on how you plan to use your caravan there some optional extras available for hire which can make life easier: These include additional water tanks , electrical adapters that allow you to connect to a traditional 3 pin power supply, direct water supply, wing mirror extenders, gas bottle refills and many others. Please add your extras at the time you make your caravan hire booking
We have set up processes to allow for contactless pick up and drop off of your caravan. It is a requirement of your caravan hire that you comply with the contactless system instructions. You will need to watch our operating instructions Video before you can collect your hire caravan.
Do you need a car to tow your caravan for rent? We have partnerships that bring you exclusive car caravan combo offers. Please be aware that many rental vehicles do not have tow bars. See us to get help with renting a car for your rental caravan.
Bookings commencing 1 February to 30 November 10% deposit is non refundable 90% refundable up to 60 days prior to pick up date 50% refundable up to 11 days prior to pick up date Bookings commencing 1 December to 31 January 10% deposit is non refundable 90% refundable up to 120 days prior to pick up date 50% refundable up to 20 days prior to pick up date We will happily work with you to change booking dates if needed where we can accomodate your change. Seasonal pricing variations may apply.
Your hire caravan is insured under out fleet insurance policy. For insurable incidents under our Group Insurance Policy our current insurance excess for any claim is $3,000. This can be reduced to $750 for $15 per day.
The 2 berth hire caravan requires a vehicle capable of towing 1200 kgs. The 4 and 5 Berth hire caravans require a vehicle capable of towing 1400 kgs.
Your hire caravan will come with a hitch lock which must be kept locked at all times. There is a GPS module inside your hire caravan.
Your rental caravan will be charged for a minimum of 3 days. Minimum caravan rental days from 23rd december till 4th January 6 days.
If you are paying for your caravan rental by credit card then you will be charged a 10% deposit if your start date is more than 45 days from the booking date. the remaining 90% will be due 45 days from the start date. If the booking date is within 45 days of the start date then the booking will be charged in full. If you wish to pay bank transfer you will be charged in full at the time of booking irrespective of the start date.
We can arrange for a 3rd party to deliver your rental caravan to your site. There is an extra fee for this. Please contact us to get a quote
Your caravan booking will only allow you to confirm online with payment by debit or credit card. However if you would like to avoid the card fees and pay by bank transfer then make a separate payment by bank transfer immediately following the quote and send us a copy of the payment to info@nz4u2u.com. We can reverse the credit/debit card transaction including the fees. This can only be done if the booking is paid by bank transfer in FULL and the payment processed to your booking within 24 hours. The bank details are:- Account Name: 4U2U Limtied Account Number: 03 0823 0108338 000 If you choose to make a payment of the 10% deposit by credit/debit card and then wish to pay the balance outstanding at the due date 45 days from start date of your booking by bank transfer it will be to late to refund the card fees. A refund of card fees is only possible if the balance is paid in FULL at the time of booking.
NZ4U2U reserve the right to decline any booking on any caravan for hire if it is deemed unsuitable and we will return the fees paid.

Your caravan hire includes unlimited kilometres. However it is important to note that your rental caravan it is only suitable for hard sealed roads.
